Job Summary: The Agri Customer Support Officer will be the primary, client-facing representative for all Urban Greens system customers. This role is crucial for ensuring a seamless, positive, and coordinated customer experience throughout the entire client lifecycle—from initial setup and operational support to harvest and buy-back.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong Agri-business/engineering background to effectively understand and communicate our system’s technology, coupled with exceptional coordination, communication, and customer service skills. The agri customer support officer acts as the internal champion for the customer, ensuring timely and clear execution of all scheduled activities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Management & Coordination:
- Serve as the primary customer liaison for all accounts.
- Proactively manage all operational logistics, including coordinating input/product deliveries and overseeing the client buy-back program.
- Lead the client onboarding process and manage general customer inquiries.
Sales Support & Documentation:
- Provide technical support to the sales team by assisting with BOQ and quotation development
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and sales support activities within the CRM system.
Customer satisfaction:
- Collect, synthesize, and report client feedback to internal product and operations teams to drive service and system improvements.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering and/or Agri-Business Development, or a closely related field.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in an AgriTech customer-facing role.
- Understanding of hydro- and aquaponics technology is a plus. Must be capable of assisting with BoQ and Quotation development and simplifying complex system details for clients.
- Communication & Coordination: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, coupled with superior organization and detail orientation for coordinating all customer logistics (visits, deliveries, etc.) and preparing accurate quotations.
- Customer Success Focus: Proven customer-centric mindset, professional demeanor, and ability to proactively manage relationships, resolve operational issues, and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in using CRM software and standard office tools.
