Job Summary: This is a full-time on-site role based in Kampala for a Tour Guide. The Tour Guide will be responsible for leading and managing guided tours, providing exceptional customer service, and sharing detailed knowledge of Uganda’s history and cultural heritage. The role involves ensuring the safety and enjoyment of guests, answering questions, and facilitating memorable experiences. Additionally, the Tour Guide will engage in sales activities to promote and sell tour packages and other services.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Guided Tours and History knowledge
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Sales experience and ability to promote tour packages
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse groups
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Valid driver’s license and ability to lead tours across various terrains
- Passion for eco-tourism and wildlife conservation.
