Job Summary: We are seeking to recruit for the position Technical supervisor to join our growing team. The position reports directly to the plant manager.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all machine repair and maintenance activities to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in production machinery.
- Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely servicing of equipment.
- Monitor spare parts inventory, ensure availability, and coordinate replacement when required.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and spare parts usage.
- Provide technical support and guidance to machine operators for efficient machine operation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote safe working practices in the plant.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and operators in troubleshooting and maintenance practices.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ hands-on experience in machinery maintenance and repair, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
