Job Summary: We are looking for a Team Lead – Finance & Billing to take charge of financial operations in a fast-moving e-commerce space. From guiding billing workflows to keeping numbers sharp and decisions smarter, you will be at the center of accuracy and transparency. This is not just about finance; it is about leadership, mentoring a small team, and driving digital-first practices forward. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily finances and reconciliations
- Manage billing, invoicing and payments
- Ensure compliance and protect financial data
- Deliver clear, actionable financial reports
- Lead and mentor the finance & billing team for efficiency and growth
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
- Hands-on experience in financial operations, billing and reconciliations
- Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving agility
- High integrity, discretion and accountability in handling financial data
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, ERP systems and modern accounting tools
Nice to have
- Experience in e-commerce or retail finance operations
- Knowledge of Uganda tax laws and statutory compliance
- Strong skills in data analysis and financial reporting
- Exposure to digital financial systems and automation tools
