Job Summary: The Security System Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a range of advanced security equipment, including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, motion sensors, tracking equipment, and other security-related devices in both residential and commercial settings. This role is critical in ensuring our security systems function optimally and comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, setup and configure CCTV systems, Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, and other security-related equipment.
- Run cables and wires for device connectivity and mount cameras/sensors in strategic locations.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks, system diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
- Respond to service calls, diagnose issues, and repair/replace defective components.
- Integrate and test security systems to ensure seamless interoperability.
- Provide end-user training on system functionalities and troubleshooting.
- Assess the need for system upgrades and recommend improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and system configurations.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and legal requirements.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- At least four (4) years of experience in a related field such as electrical or telecommunications.
Minimum Education Requirements
- Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Equivalent.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of electronics, electrical wiring, and Systems programming.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements
- In good mental, physical, and psychological health as per SUL standard
