Key Duties and Responsibilities: The position holder is responsible for the following.
Operations:
- Directly supervise the activities of the security contractors on the ground, ensure that the security procedures are adhered to and report as required to the Sites Head of Security.
- According to the threat level, ensure the implementation of the company security plan, site plan, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and security operations are effective. The Site Security Plan and SOPs shall be tested through periodic exercises and updated on a regular basis.
- Ensure all security forces at site have been trained to the VPHSR before their deployment.
- Develop and review dedicated SOPs for the site.
- Implement, and maintain a physical protection system to deter, detect, and delay with the goal to deny and provide an appropriate response to malevolent acts and undesirable events.
- Remains in constant liaison with Community Liaison Officers to share concerns and grievances.
- Regularly update and draft in coordination with the Sites Head of Security, a security risk and threat assessment to identify potential vulnerabilities in order to protect entity personnel, assets, information and reputation.
- Perform day/night security audits and patrols of the site.
- Coordinate the required logistics of all required escorts and Quick Reaction Teams assignments.
- Ensure the security workforce at site, to include the Security control room operators, comply and obey to the SOPs.
- Ensure that the equipment and personnel supplied by the security contractors comply with the HSE standards of the company by conducting periodic reviews.
- Report all security Breach and incidents to the SHoS in order to be traced and the appropriate corrective measures implemented.
Personnel:
- Schedule and Coordinate VPSHR trainings programs for security contractor personnel.
- Organize any relevant security training and exercises for the security contractors
- Prepare, consolidate and submit to the ShoS a daily, weekly or monthly report and POB of the site.
Finance:
- Ensure correct deployment of security personnel, timely and correct invoicing by security contractor
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in security (Private Security Company, Army or Police)
- In depth knowledge of Total E&P policy and regulations
- Knowledge of the site area.
- IT skills – Microsoft office.
