Job Summary: Insight Management Uganda Limited is a Human Resource Outsourcing and Recruitment Company, currently seeking for a dynamic and result driven Sales Representatives for one of our Clients who is a leading provider of quality furniture and interior solutions.
The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling our client’s wide range of high-quality furniture, office fittings, and interior solutions. The role focuses on developing strong customer relationships, understanding client needs in both corporate and residential markets, and ensuring delivery of tailored solutions that meet client expectations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively market and sell the company’s furniture and interior products to individual, corporate, and institutional clients.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients, interior designers, architects, and contractors.
- Conduct client visits to present product offerings, provide design solutions, and close sales.
- Advise customers on product options, design suitability, and space optimization.
- Prepare sales quotations, proposals, and contracts in line with company policies.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, emerging trends, and competitor activities.
- Coordinate with the logistics and installation teams to ensure timely product delivery and project execution.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events to represent the company brand.
- Provide accurate weekly and monthly sales reports to management.
- Handle customer complaints and queries promptly and professionally to ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma/Certificate in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in sales, preferably in furniture, interior design construction, or related industries.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Knowledge of furniture trends, materials, and interior design concepts is an added advantage.
- Good computer skills (MS Office, Excel, email, and internet research).
