Latek Stay Alliance Uganda is an umbrella organization of social entrepreneurs, with the primary objective of reducing extreme poverty through a social enterprise approach that promotes sustainability and impact.
Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Monitoring & Evaluation Officer, the M&E volunteer will support social entrepreneurs implementing various projects to ensure success. He/She will assist the M&E department with project monitoring, data collection, analysis, progress reporting, and report writing.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: The M&E volunteer will:
- Support the M&E department in monitoring project activities.
- Assist in data collection, cleaning, analysis, and reporting.
- Track and follow up on feedback mechanisms.
- Contribute to compiling timely and high-quality periodic reports.
- Support the evaluation of project outcomes, effects, and impacts.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Education:
- Fresh graduates (within the last 2 years) with a degree in Statistics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields.
- Additional training in Monitoring & Evaluation will be an added advantage.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or SPSS (knowledge of Microsoft Access is an added advantage).
- Ability to use mobile applications and troubleshoot errors.
- Skills in data collection, cleaning, grouping, and preparation for analysis.
- Familiarity with M&E tools and frameworks.
