The Mukwano Group of Companies is the leading manufacturer of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) in the Great Lakes region, producing a wide range of market leader brands in soaps, edible cooking oils and fats, detergents, beverages, personal care products and plastics

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities: The Successful Candidate Will;

  • Design and implement product displays and store layouts in line with brand guidelines.
  • Create and maintain seasonal displays to attract customers and highlight key product
  • Manage product stock levels and placement to optimize sales.
  • Monitor inventory and reorder popular items in collaboration with the store manager.
  • Promote specific products, sales, and offers to enhance sales performance.
  • Ensure accurate stock levels on the sales floor and in back storage.
  • Adjust displays based on customer preferences and sales trends.
  • Collaborate with the store team to support daily operations and merchandising tasks.
  • Train new staff on merchandising techniques and product placement.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Outlet Sales Manager

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:




  • Minimum of a Diploma in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing or any other related field.
  • At least 2 years customer care experience especially in retail, FMCG or manufacturing sectors.
  • Skills & Professional Attributes Required
  • Computer literate.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Enjoy rapport building and customer interaction.
  • Professionalism and confident.
  • Target driven and self-motivated.
  • Strong persuasive skills.
  • Able to work in a highly dynamic environment and able to multi-task.
