Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Logistics and Procurement Coordinator, the Logistics Assistant provides comprehensive support to the Kampala Support Office by managing both procurement and fleet operations. The role is actively involved in the procurement cycles by supporting sourcing, bid analysis, supplier coordination, contract administration, and ensuring compliance with FH Association and donor procurement guidelines. Simultaneously, the Logistics Assistant oversees day-to-day fleet management, ensuring effective vehicle and motorcycle utilization, maintenance scheduling, fuel reconciliation, and insurance tracking. In addition to these core functions, the role supports partly administrative operations including events logistics, expatriate staff travel coordination, and asset monitoring. This position is key to enhancing operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance within the Support Services Division.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in previous experience as a logistician, preferably with an NGO; proven experience in logistics and procurement administration.
- Education/Certifications
- A University Degree in Procurement and Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management or an equivalent.
- Must have a valid driving permit (class B or D1) with at least 5 years’ driving experience.
