Job Summary: The IT Officer will support Mirage Tiles Limited by ensuring the smooth and secure operation of IT systems and infrastructure Reporting to the Financial Controller, the IT Officer will oversee IT hardware software and network functionality, while providing technical support and training to the team. This role involves maintaining compliance with Mirage guidelines, improving IT service delivery, and supporting the company’s objectives
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level IT support to staff (hardware software and network issues)
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment
- Assist in managing and troubleshooting network connectivity and internet issues
- Support in the installation updating and patching of software applications
- Monitor and maintain IT inventory (hardware and software).
- Assist with data backup, recovery and basic cybersecurity practices
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff or external vendors when necessary
- Maintain proper documentation of IT issues assets and resolutions.
- Provide basic user training on IT tools and systems
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of a Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (a degree is an added advantage)
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software installation, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, routers switches firewalls)
- Basic understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Ability to provide end-user technical support
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 3651 Email setup
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- At least 2 years of relevant experience (internship/industrial training acceptable for fresh graduates)
