The company head office is located at Plot 751, Kyaggwe Block 113, Namanve Industrial Area appropriate for quick customs clearances of both import and export. The company is recognized for its excellent services and performance in the bonded warehouse value chain by the Uganda Revenue Authority.

Job Summary: The IT Trainee will support the IT department in day-to-day operations, assist in troubleshooting technical issues, and participate in IT projects and system upgrades. This is an entry-level position ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to kick-start their career in information technology.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
  • Support end-users with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Monitor and respond to IT support tickets and service requests.
  • Perform routine system checks and report anomalies to senior staff.
  • Support the IT team in data entry, documentation, and inventory management.
  • Participate in basic network administration and cybersecurity tasks.
  • Assist with backup and recovery processes.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:




  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced IT environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of basic coding or scripting (e.g., Python, HTML, JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with database systems like MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with helpdesk software or ticketing systems.
