Job Summary: Exquisite Solution Limited, a leading HR firm, seeks an HSE Officer for our client in the manufacturing industry. The role involves implementing and overseeing HSE programs to ensure regulatory compliance and a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will help drive a strong safety culture and reduce operational risks.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and ongoing improvement of QHSE management systems.
  • Coordinate regular OHS meetings, including incident reviews and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Assist in creating and executing training plans for OH&S, EMS, and QMS teams.
  • Monitor outsourced services (pest control, PPE cleaning, signage) for quality and contract compliance.
  • Identify and advise on proper hazardous waste disposal.
  • Conduct monthly waste inspections and ensure valid waste disposal certificates are maintained.
  • Assist in investigating workplace incidents and accidents, track trends, and support preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate records, meeting minutes, and reports for management use.
  • Guide staff on completing LD 31 workers’ compensation forms.
  • Enforce HSE compliance for all employees and visitors on site.
  • Share regular internal health and safety communications.
  • Lead safety orientation sessions for new staff.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:




  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certification or Diploma in Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Management from a recognized body (e.g., NEBOSH).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in manufacturing, paint, or chemical industries.
  • Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety hazards in industrial settings.
  • Familiarity with QMS, EMS, and OHS standards and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to coach teams and deliver effective presentations.
  • Sound understanding of industrial relations and workplace dynamics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of First Aid and Fire Safety procedures.
