Job Summary: Sokoni Africa Limited is pleased to announce a Housekeeping Graduate Trainee program for recent graduates eager to develop their skills and knowledge in the hospitality sector. As a Housekeeping Graduate Trainee, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship in various housekeeping operations while contributing to maintaining the hotel’s cleanliness and presentation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning guest rooms and public areas
- Learn and implement proper cleaning techniques and procedures
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance housekeeping skills
- Support the housekeeping team in inventory management and supply restocking
- Help in conducting inspections of rooms and common areas to ensure quality standards are met
- Foster positive relationships with guests and respond to their requests or concerns
- Contribute to maintaining safety and hygiene standards throughout the hotel
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Recent graduate with a degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Strong desire to build a career in housekeeping or hospitality
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
