Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of the brokerage firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management within the insurance sector, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to compliance and strategic growth.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives and efficient delivery of insurance services.
  • Ensure procedures comply with IRA guidelines while maintaining strong relationships with regulators and governing bodies.
  • Develop, formulate, and implement business strategies that align with group goals, leveraging in-depth market and industry knowledge.
  • Establish performance targets, conduct regular appraisals of operations, and assess policies for continuous improvement.
  • Achieve operational results in line with annual budgets and monitor key performance indicators.
  • Develop, execute, and monitor strategies for sales teams to drive growth and revenue.
  • Proactively build and manage relationships with clients, focusing on large corporate accounts and employing effective sales techniques.
  • Develop and sustain strategic partnerships with clients, insurance companies, and underwriters, negotiating beneficial terms.
  • Service large corporate clients and actively engage in sales techniques.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:




  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field; knowing that a master’s degree is a plus.
  • CII qualification or equivalent is desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance sector. The ideal candidate should be motivated, innovative, eager to drive change in a fast-paced environment and have a strong understanding of the insurance industry (all lines of business / general and life)
  • Excellent public relations skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, and industry partners.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle for business travel
