Job Summary: Crystal Gadgets Ltd. is seeking to hire a highly skilled FEMALE professional in the age bracket of (25 to 35) in Accounting and Tax Compliance to join our team as an EFRIS Accountant & Tax Compliance Specialist. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing our financial records, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and filing returns with the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA).Short-term employment services
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Tax compliance
- Monitor inventory and reconcile accounts.
- Financial record-keeping
- Tax planning
- Audit and risk management
- Financial Reporting
- Other related roles assigned by line supervisor from time to time
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Professional qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Technical skills (Proficiency in EFRIS, accounting software e.g., QuickBooks, Xero among others) and a strong understanding of Ugandan tax laws and regulations are a MUST.
- Experience: (Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting and tax compliance. Working with EFRIS is a MUST).
- Certifications: ACCA, CPA, or equivalent certifications are highly valued.
- EFRIS management is a MUST
