Sun King products range from portable solar lamps to more robust multi-light solar home systems, to solar-powered televisions and fans and energy-efficient inverter bulbs.  Our products drastically improve the quality of life for those that lack reliable electricity access: they help extend the number of productive, income-generating hours in a day; they enable children to study after dark; they allow families and communities to gather safely to socialize after sunset; and when replacing field-based sources of light like kerosene lamps, they reduce exposure to indoor air pollution.

 

Job Summary: As a Customer Service Executive at Sun King, you are required to promote, deliver, and maintain a high-quality, professional service image to Sun King customers, effectively and efficiently resolve queries, take ownership of any issue raised until resolution is achieved, and achieve productivity performance standards set by the Customer Service Function.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Offering product and service education to customers in an efficient & effective manner
  • Handling customer queries with quality and professionalism
  • Managing customer queries promptly to avoid long waiting times and high drop rates.
  • Managing customer interactions within the standard handling time
  • Updating customer information in the required tools as per the standard operating procedures
  • Be available to handle Inbound / Outbound traffic during low and peak hours
  • Ensure process compliance and follow through on customer process recommendations.
  • Offering sales team assistance to prospective customers
  • Consider eligibility by comparing client information to requirements.
  • Accomplishing the Customer service vision and mission by meeting related Key performance indicators set by the function.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:




  • Possess a University Degree or Diploma in a business-related field.
  • Portray Language Proficiency; MUST be fluent in English and Luganda plus any other local languages, i.e., Runyakitara (Runyoro, Rutoro, Runyankole, Rukiga), Luo (Acholi & Langi), Lumasaba, Ateso, Lugbara, Kumam, Lugwere, sabiny
  • Are excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Have efficient application of Microsoft Office software packages, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Have Basic internet knowledge
