Job Summary: Baikal Financial Services Limited is seeking a dedicated and proactive Collections Officer to join our team. This role is critical in maintaining portfolio health, enforcing company policies, minimizing defaults, and supporting client financial recovery efforts.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage member payment schedules
- Enforce company policies to ensure compliance
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce late payments and defaults
- Generate reports highlighting arrears, risks, and portfolio performance
- Proactively communicate risks such as theft, lost assets, or repeated delinquencies
- Conduct background checks and onboard new clients
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Collaborate with the Credit Team to support clients in regaining financial stability
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years’ experience in collections, credit management, or related roles
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools
