Job Summary: The brand champions will support the Marketing department to drive visibility and presence across the market. This role is primarily responsible for executing trade and field marketing initiatives, coordinating retail branding and supervising on-ground brand activations. The ideal candidate will ensure that the client’s brand is consistently represented across all retail and POS touchpoints, drive customer engagement and support sales growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the proper placement and visibility of in-store and POS materials across retail outlets, dealer shops to ensure brand consistency in the market.
- Co-ordinate shop and wall branding activities across key trade locations in line with brand guidelines.
- Execute and monitor field activations, promotions and community engagement events.
- Work with marketing agencies and activation teams to execute impactful on-ground experiences.
- Monitor brand compliance during activations and escalate any inconsistencies.
- Support field sales teams with marketing collateral and branded assets.
- Conduct market visits to assess branding impact and gather feedback from the trade.
- Maintain a database of branded outlets (both direct and aggregator channels) and key visibility locations.
- Liaise with the sales and distribution teams to align branding with market expansion plans.
- Prepare brief reports and updates on on-going trade marketing initiatives.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
- 2 – 4 years of experience in either sales, trade marketing, retail branding or brand execution (telecom or FMCG experience is an added advantage). Freshers can also be considered.
- Strong understanding of field marketing, retail operations and consumer engagement.
Skills / attributes:
- Able to work independently and travel frequently within the market
- Strong planning and execution skills
- Attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
