Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Officer To support the operations of the Finance Function through handling Payment Processes and reconciliation of ledger balances and operational bank accounts. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of finance procedures, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and verifying medical files for approval and proper documentation leading to claims settlement.
  • Liaising with the Medical team for quick resolve of any matter relating to medical claims settlement.
  • Flagging off all settled medical claims records with a “PAID” stamp.
  • Payment of Marine Polices and reconciliations.
  • Performing weekly bank reconciliations.
  • Capturing/Posting payment vouchers into accounting system.
  • Generating summary reports for each hospital to be paid in any single batch of medical claims.
  • Returning all fully paid and signed off payment files to the medical team.
  • Filing copy of the payment record in each medical file represented in the batch of claims settled.
  • Carrying out bank reconciliation on operational accounts.
  • Filling account documents.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:




Education:

  • A Bachelor’s (Hon) degree in Accounting or Finance or any Business related course, Student of CPA

Experience:

  • Minimum Two years’ relevant experience

Required Skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving
  • Competent IT skills
  • High level of accuracy.
  • Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced work environment
