Job Summary: Under the direction of the Finance Director, prepare analyses and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and providing insights for informed decision-making and University growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Director Finance in the following functions;
- Coordination of the drawing up and managing the University Budget
- Maintain and Present books of Accounts for Auditing
- Give regular financial reports
- Supervision of Staff in the Finance Department
- Coordination of the Implementation and Development of Financial and operational management systems
- Coordinate and Implement Financial policies
- Maintaining and updating the University’s Asset Register
- Computing the value of the University’s Physical Assets
- Assists with the accounts payable, revenue collection and financial administration functions of the department
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in finance and accounting
- Full Professional Qualifications in Accounting and Finance
- Evidence of Membership with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda.
- Membership with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is an added advantage
- A minimum of five (5) year’s qualification experience.
- Extensive Computer knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Vision Excel, Word, PowerPoint, other accounting software is required
Desired Skills and Experience

- Master’s Degree in finance and accounting
- Full Professional Qualifications In Accounting And Finance
