Job Title: Accountant (Fresher Jobs)

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- EDUCATION: An Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized university or institution.
- PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION: Professional qualifications from a recognized body such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or an equivalent recognized by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU).
- EXPERIENCE: A minimum of two to five years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
Skills and Competencies
- TECHNICAL SKILLS: Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with accounting software, such as Integrated Financial Management systems (IFMS).
- SOFT SKILLS: Integrity and Professionalism: High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data.
- COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- TEAMWORK: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Organizational Skills: Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Other Requirements
- COMPLIANCE: Knowledge of Uganda’s statutory and tax regulations is required.
- COMPUTER LITERACY: Essential for modern accounting roles.
