Job Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of Uganda Warehouse, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management; receiving and issuing of stocks and ensuring accurate inventory records are maintained, tracking incoming and outgoing shipments, prepare items for dispatch by assisting in loading while adhering to batch management. – 40%
- Participation in Uganda warehouse cycle counts and quarterly stock takes. – 20%
- Coordination of Uganda ABPs replenishment and timely submission of Vendor invoices to Nairobi. – 20%
- Warehouse Organization; Segregation of goods and proper housekeeping by organizing the warehouse layout for optimal space utilization and accessibility. – 10%
- Safety compliance; Follow Solenis EHS safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the Manager. Participate in Uganda Warehouse and office 6s activities. – 10%
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Graduate degree in Supply chain management.
- At least 5 years progressive warehouse management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Problem solving abilities and proactive approach to tasks.
- Experience in operating lifting equipment e.g. stacker or forklift (forklift certification) will be an added advantage.
