About Organisation:
Kakira Sugar Limited (KSL) is a leading sugar manufacturer in Uganda. KSL boasts of two sugar estates, one in Kakira – Jinja and the other in Kayunga.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To carry out the day-to-day faults of the telecommunication system
- To carry out the preventive and predictive maintenance of Intercoms, EPABX in KSL and the group companies
- To maintain reports and records as per the ISO standards
- Adhere to the safety, health and environment policy of the company while at work.
- Perform any other related duties that may be assigned by the Technician
- instrumentation/Management from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma Holder in Electronics, IT, Telecom Engineering.
Experience, Skills and Competences:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in identifying the telephone line faults, ALCATEL, NORTEL NA PANASONIC EPABX.
- Honest, mature, team player, self-starting initiative, assertiveness, presence, flexibility persistence and consistency.
