The key purpose of this role is ensuring our BEES expansion initiative serves our primary commercial objective in Uganda. The scope includes digital sales, marketing tech, and route to market solutions. The role will work closely with the Uganda commercial teams to understand our customer, consumer and business requirements, and will collaborate with them to align to the digital strategy and deliverables in market, specifically to get to 100% penetration of the BEES buyers. The role will also be responsible for digital rewards and digital communications monitoring, evaluation, trouble shooting, and reporting – and supporting the commercial Teams driving the initiative to make sure the customers’ needs are heard and addressed accordingly.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Project Support: Assist the Commercial team in project planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate clear communication and alignment on rollout strategies and activities.
  • User Training: Train the customers on how to access digital communication and points rewards, ensuring they place orders seamlessly using the available tools on the BEES platform.
  • Quality Assurance: Engage with the customers on product selection to identify and report platform issues.
  • Digital Communications Management: Act as a point of contact for communicating to the customers through our digital comms tool to drive customer engagement on the BEES platform
  • Digital Rewards Adoption: Plan and execute digital rewards strategies to drive execution success, including designing of the necessary material, in line with the commercial agenda
  • User Adoption: Enhance the BEES user adoption strategies on ground, including the distribution of promotional materials and digital engagement campaigns.
  • Reporting: Submit detailed reports as required, highlighting any insights, and following up on support cases for closure
