Core duties
- Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies
- Material planning and forecasting
- Management of all shipping imports and export activities
- Management of the supply chain team
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demand Forecasting: Analyze market trends and historical data to accurately predict customer demand and optimize inventory levels.
- Procurement Management: Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels across warehouses to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
- Logistics Planning: Coordinate transportation and warehousing activities to ensure efficient movement of goods.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to address issues and optimize performance.
- Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving measures throughout the supply chain, including transportation, warehousing, and procurement.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, production, and finance teams to align supply chain strategies with overall business goals.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
- Experience as a Supply Chain Manager or Procurement Manager preferably in the cosmetics industry
Special requirements
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques
- 4-6 Years of experience.
- Strong communication skills with all stakeholders (verbal and written)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience in managing import and exports activities and freight forwarding
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (ERP, Microsoft 365 Business Central beneficial)
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills Aptitude in decision-making and working with
