Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Claims Officer to manage and process General Insurance Claims efficiently. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of insurance policies and procedures, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review, evaluate, and process insurance claims in accordance with GA Insurance policies and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the claims process, providing updates, answering queries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Gather and analyze documentation related to claims, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct thorough investigations into claims, including liaising with external parties.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to insurance claims.
- Pursue recoveries under RI with the guidance of the Claims Manager
- Negotiate with service providers like garages
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports on claim status, trends, and outcomes.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial/Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Insurance claims processing.
