Job Summary: Our Client, a leading manufacturer and exporter of hair care and body care products are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join their team in the West Nile Region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and building strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors of cosmetic products.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Identify and onboard new retail outlets, distributors, and wholesalers.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor activity, and emerging trends.
- Present, promote, and sell the company’s cosmetic products to existing and potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, salons, pharmacies, and supermarkets.
- Provide product training and demonstrations to customers to enhance product knowledge.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
- Ensure optimal product placement, visibility, and stock availability in retail outlets.
- Monitor and report on competitor activities and market trends.
- Implement promotional activities and trade incentives to boost sales.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to prevent stockouts.
- Adhere to company sales policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of a Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 2 years of field sales experience, preferably in FMCG, cosmetics
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet targets.
- Proficiency in using sales software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Familiarity with the West Nile Region’s local languages.
