About Organisation:

The Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC) was established by Allied Health Professionals Act Cap. 268 to regulate, supervise and control the training, practice and other related matters of Allied Health Professionals in Uganda.

 

Job Summary: Develop, review and implement a robust monitoring, evaluation and research framework and tools to facilitate measurement of progress, enhance compliance of programmes with council standards, policy frameworks and best practices; achieve efficiency and accountability

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement the monitoring and evaluation framework
  • Develop monitoring and evaluation indicators
  • Coordinate the collection and analysis of data
  • Carry out periodic evaluations of regulatory impact by the council
  • Develop and disseminate the monitoring, evaluation and research plans and systems
  • Organise regular reviews and assessment of council activities
  • Design and implement evidence based advocacy initiatives
  • Guide and support council’s resource mobilisation strategies
  • Develop and maintain collaboration and networks with research stakeholder resources
  • Support and participate in Council planning and budgeting activities
  • Prepare and submit annual and quarterly reports on council activities

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:




  • Must have either a bachelor’s degree in statistics or economics plus a postgraduate
  • diploma in monitoring and evaluation or project planning and management OR a bachelor degree in any of the Allied Health
  • Professionals Disciplines plus a Diploma in management OR a diploma in any of the Allied Health Professionals disciplines plus a diploma in Management from a recognised University/ Institution
  • Experience Must have at least 3 years of relevant work experience with a reputable organisation
