Job Title: ICT Manager

About Organisation:
Nakasero Hospital Limited (NHL) is a private hospital in Kampala that opened its doors to outpatient treatment in March 2009 and inpatient treatment, the same year. Our mission is to provide quality medical care to patients, to fill the gap which is created by lack of adequate medical facilities in the country.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of the hospital’s ICT strategy
- Oversee clinical information systems, networks, hardware, and software
- Ensure system security, data privacy, and regulatory compliance
- Manage vendor relationships and ICT projects
- Drive continuous improvement and staff capacity building
- Monitor system performance and provide strategic insights to leadership
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or related field
- Professional certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA, ITIL) are preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in ICT within healthcare or similar fast-paced environments
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills
- Knowledge of hospital-specific ICT applications and health data standards
