Job Summary: To manage operational HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll processing, and training coordination, to support effective HR operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding – Advertise roles, support interviews, manage induction programs, track probation, and ensure job descriptions are updated.
  • Payroll & Benefits – Assist in payroll processing, manage benefits, and support performance-based incentives.
  • Training & Development – Coordinate training needs, manage the annual training calendar, and oversee training evaluations.
  • Employee Relations & Welfare – Handle queries, promote employee wellness, and support grievance handling and compliance.
  • Performance Management – Facilitate appraisal processes and monitor performance metrics.
  • Expatriate Support – Assist with work permits, visas, and accommodation.
  • Union Engagement – Collaborate with shop stewards to address staff issues.
  • HR Administration – Maintain up-to-date records and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a generalist HR role
  • Proficient in HR systems (SAP, SAGE)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, multitask, and meet deadlines
  • A self-starter with a collaborative spirit and keen attention to detail
