Job Summary: The Debt Executive is responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring the timely collection of dues from clients, advertisers, or partners. They play a crucial role in maintaining healthy cash flow, minimizing bad debt, and supporting the financial stability of the company.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Timely collection of company debt;
- Provision of supporting documents to facilitate the collection process (timely delivery of invoices, statements and demand notes);
- Maintain accurate and updated customers’ statements;
- Work with the commercial team, legal office and external debt collectors to recover debts;
- Responding to client queries on time while ensuring customer satisfaction;
- Achievement of agreed targets; Strictly adhere to the company’s credit control policy.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or its equivalent from a recognized institution; CPA (K) or ACCA Certification; Certificate in Credit Management(desirable);
- At least three (3) years’ of debt collection experience with a proven track record; Strong networks across all business sectors;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills;
- Excellent analytical skills; Ability to meet strict deadlines; Excellent IT skills;
- High degree of integrity and honesty;
- Result driven and a team player.
