Job Title: Driver / Loader (Fresher Jobs)

About Organisation:
Newrest Uganda Inflight Services is an industrial catering company specializing in the aviation sector (restaurants serving the airline and VIP flights and ground with signs Caffé Lindo, E-Café Sky Café), and in the rail, marine, communities (embassies, schools, private companies, hospitals), also associated services including aerial specialist managed services “in flight” (Inflight), the sales on board (Buy-on-board), the Off- taxes (duty free)) and remote support (remote sites).
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily work operations
- Drives trucks and other company vehicles as per driving permit
- Ensures that all airline orders for scheduled and adhoc flights are received in time
- Prepares equipment for all airline schedules
- Closely monitors menu changes of all airlines
- Ensures that all airline meals are checked and counted.
- Ensures that all airlines specifications or requirements are adhered to
- Loading and off loading the flights
- Checks the trucks and fills the truck checklist
- Cleaning the trucks
- Fills the truck movement schedule and log book
- Ensure that operational equipment like trucks are in good condition before use
- Ensures that all catering orders are correctly done and given to appropriate sections in production areas
- Washing of Airline trolleys if required to do so
- Adheres to all HACCP procedures
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Should have minimum of 2 years driving experience in reputable company
- Should hold CLASS C and ABOVE of drivers license
- Should be able to read and write
- Should hold at least hold a professional certificate in any given career
