Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Appraise, assess, and recommend unsecured salary loan applications in line with credit policy.
- Guide clients through the loan application process and terms.
- Monitor active loans for performance and ensure timely collections.
- Conduct field visits to verify applicant information and creditworthiness.
- Grow and manage a healthy salary loan portfolio through referrals and retention strategies.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Microfinance, or related field Experience:
- Credit Officers: At least 1-2 years in salary loan processing, disbursement, and recovery.
- Language: Fluency in both Luganda and English is mandatory.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Integrity: Ability to handle cash and client data with the highest level of trust and responsibility.
- Age: 20-35 years.
