Job Summary: Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) is the largest African Coca-Cola Bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. In Uganda, we are currently seeking to recruit a Clerk Raw Materials based at our Rwenzori Plant.
As a Clerk Raw Materials, you will report directly to the Team Leader Inventory.
Key Purpose Statement
The Primary role of the Raw Materials Clerk is to ensure all stock is received, issued in accordance with the requirements of the
department and can be accounted for.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage, monitor and control packaging materials and finished products.
- Participate in conducting daily, monthly and annual materials stock count.
- Ensure proper handling, transfer, receipt, issuance and storage of stocks.
- Conduct system transactions, through posting of all transactions in the assigned ERP account.
- Compliance with SOPs, housekeeping standards and safety.
- Monitor stock movements through stock reconciliation to ensure zero variance
- Escalate any Hazardous/risky situations to the EOSH coordinator.
- Ensure proper document management and control.
- Compliance and Business systems (supply chain way)
- Collaborate with the planning production finance and all other support department.
- Supervise and coach loaders on their assigned duties and responsibilities
- Monitor stock levels and reorder points as needed and share with respective teams
- Ensure resources and available to effect deliveries and issuance of materials
- Ensure that all document integrity is maintained.
- Participate in food safety management system implementation.
- Report food safety, defense and fraud related issues to food safety team leader designate (SHEQ manager)
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Procurement/Supply chain/Finance or related field.
Experience
- Minimum requirement: +2years of operational experience in
- stores management and material handling, specifically within an FMCG.
