Job Title:  Business Development Officer (Fresher Jobs)

About Organisation:

EcoPlastile a is a waste management, construction and a social enterprise that addresses the challenges of urban waste management (plastic pollution), indecent housing, health problems caused by dirty floors, chronic youth unemployment, deforestation and climate change.

 

Job Summary: Develop and manage business growth to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Business Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Market Development: Identify new markets and business opportunities, create new sales channels, and arrange meetings with prospective clients.
  • Sales & Client Management: Prepare proposals and presentations, promote products and services, and provide after-sales support.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and the community.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee daily operations to improve product performance.
  • Planning & Forecasting: Create development plans and forecast sales targets and growth projections.
  • Compliance: Ensure all business acquisition strategies comply with legal and statutory requirements.

Key Deliverables:

  • Financial Performance: Meet or exceed revenue and sales targets.
  • Market Expansion: Acquire new business by identifying new markets and creating new business channels.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate high-value relationships with clients and stakeholders to improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:




  • Education: Bachelor’s degree. A diploma in insurance is an added advantage.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of work experience in insurance, fintech, or FMCG.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, insurance CRMs, and data analysis tools.
  • Good understanding of insurance terminology.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team.
