About Organisation:

KSK Associates is a Professional Services Firm that provides Financial Consultancy Services including Assurance and Business Advisory Services, Business Planning, Feasibility studies & Project Proposal Preparation, Human Resource, Risk Management and Information System Solutions. They would like to recruit for a valuable client in the hospitality business, and are looking for a self-motivated and qualified Accountant with vast experience in the field. The ideal candidate will be required to undertake all roles related to accounting at our clients’ premises.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain inventory records, regular stock counts, inventory costs, and prepare inventory reports for management;
  • Manage all accounting operations based on accounting principles;
  • Prepare budget, financial forecasts, and financial statements;
  • Prepare economic performance reports, final accounts and monthly financial management reports;
  • Handle tax administration, filling all tax returns, PAYE, VAT and EFRIS;
  • Handle payroll on a monthly basis;
  • Receive/verify bank, cash and cheques;
  • File NSSF returns on a monthly basis;
  • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations;
  • Manage receivables for the company;
  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded in quick books;
  • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices;
  • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate;
  • Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures;
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information;
  • Maintain financial security by following internal controls;
  • Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements;
  • Maintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential;
  • Monitor and account for materials, equipment and stock of assets for the company.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:




  • Bachelors’ degree in accounting or any related field.
  • Professional certifications .e.g. CPA or ACCA level 2 preferred.
  • Relevant work experience of at least 1 year in accounting or finance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and systems .e.g. QuickBooks and tally.
  • Understanding financial laws, regulations and standards.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and resolve issues.
  • Effective communication of financial information.
