Job Summary: In Uganda, we are currently seeking to recruit a Settlement Clerk based at our Rwenzori Plant.

As a Settlement Clerk, you will report directly to the Team Leader Warehouse.

Key Purpose Statement

The primary role of the Settlement Clerk is to ensure real-time and accurate capture of all data into Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all data is captured in real-time and is up to date.
  • Capture and analyze data from source documents into the system.
  • Compare data with source documentation or re-enter data in a verification format to detect errors.
  • Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered.
  • Locate and correct data entry errors and report them to supervisors.
  • Maintain logs of activities and completed work.
  • Store completed documents in appropriate locations.
  • Transfer details from separate journals to general ledgers and data processing sheets.
  • Perform filing and document management as per agreed standards.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum requirement: Degree in Warehouse & Logistics Management, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience.

  • Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in FMCGs.
  • Added Advantage: Experience as a settlement clerk.

Competencies.

  • Exceptional accuracy & attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer Service Oriented.
  • Advanced computer skills able to capture, analyse, and verify data.
  • Proactive, trustworthy, assertive, accountable, reliable, and self-motivated.
  • Familiarity with common logistics principles and documentation
