Job Summary: To ensure quality standards are upheld during assembly, inspection, and delivery processes through thorough evaluation and quality control procedures to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce rework.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce proper bike/equipment assembling procedures.
- Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) to ensure all units meet quality standards before handover.
- Inspect and report any damages or missing items as per the packing list.
- Conduct root cause analysis of recurring defects and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure availability and proper issuance of all essential documents.
- Collaborate with the Workshop Supervisor to address any assembly or inspection concerns.
- Maintain quality control records and generate inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality benchmarks.
- Participate in product recalls, rework, or field technical support where necessary.
- Train staff on quality control standards and updates to PDI checklists or inspection criteria.
- Work closely with stores and procurement to ensure uninterrupted availability of required materials and documents
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Quality Assurance.
- Additional certification in Quality Control or Inspection is an advantage.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in quality inspection or control in a vehicle workshop or assembly environment.
