Job Summary: Exquisite Solution Limited, a leading HR recruitment and management company, is seeking a committed QAQC Assistant to join our client’s dynamic team in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will support the implementation and maintenance of a Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with rigorous industry standards, particularly API Specification Q2. This role ensures that both quality assurance and quality control processes are effective, compliant, and continuously improved.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the QMS aligns with API Q2 and other applicable standards, and maintain up-to-date quality documentation.
- Supervise and coordinate QA/QC staff across all sites, including task delegation and schedule management.
- Plan, conduct, and follow up on internal and external audits; manage nonconformities and corrective actions.
- Coordinate QA/QC activities with site QA/QC and procurement teams; maintain communication with client quality representatives.
- Monitor quality performance on projects, including inspections, audits, and testing activities.
- Review and verify qualifications of welders, NDT technicians, and subcontractors.
- Manage documentation control, including audit reports, certifications, and QMS records.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to reduce nonconformities and enhance quality standards.
- Set and review QA/QC requirements for suppliers; manage quality approvals for materials and services.
- Oversee welding procedures, calibration processes, and NDT activities for critical oil and gas equipment.
- Participate in QA/QC and KPI review meetings with TEPU and relevant government bodies.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Drilling Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of QA/QC experience in relevant industries.
- Strong knowledge of QMS (API Q2, ISO 9001); familiar with site operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and analytical charting tools.
- Strong team leadership and task management skills.
- Skilled in training and stakeholder communication.
- Chinese language skills both spoken and written is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professional integrity
