Job Title: Projects and Construction Engineer

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure Compliance to HSEQ to protect people and assets in the allocated sites.
- Ensure the proper implementation of construction/projects contracts in their area of jurisdiction.
- Embraces region rotation when need arises and participate in replacement or rotational plans.
- Implement investment budget and ensure timely liquidation.
- Advises TotalEnergies on the technical and regulatory aspects.
- Maintains a running relationship with HSEQ and Sales & Marketing departments so as to build a strong Field team.
- Updates technical information site data, construction and as built drawings, inventories, equipment etc. To ensure reliability of Data
- Ensure projects done within budget (+ 10%) of the initial contract sum and within contract period/time.
- Ensure projects are done to required quality standards.
- Ensure work permits are issued for all works. Works are done as per TotalEnergies 12 golden rules.
- Carries out risk assessments and prevention plan for all works.
- Ensure all statutory requirements for station construction ae met prior to commencement and during construction.
- Perform Permit to Work Audits.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- At least 3 years in supervision of Projects and construction works in a busy environment.
- Working experience in a Petroleum company is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge in Projects Management.
- Computer Knowledge and use of AutoCAD, Word and Excel.
- Possess a driving permit with a clean driving record.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- At least 3 years in supervision of Projects and construction works in a busy environment.
- Working experience in a Petroleum company is an added advantage.
