Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and implement freight contracts in compliance with company guidelines.
  • Coordinate with forwarding and clearing agencies for timely shipment deliveries.
  • Evaluate performance of clearing agents and forwarders based on delivery timelines and reliability.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packing materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
  • Optimize stock levels to balance availability, carrying costs, and expiry risks.
  • Collaborate with the Procurement Team to ensure timely ordering of materials.
  • Develop and update production schedules considering capacity, material availability, and customer needs.
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Engineering Teams to prevent delays.
  • Provide insights for improving planning and logistics strategies.
  • Track KPIs like inventory turnover, service levels, and order fulfillment rates.
  • Use SAP for data analysis and report generation.
  • Serve as a liaison between Supply Chain and other departments.
  • Participate in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Science Technology, or related field.
  • Membership to IPPU or PSU is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to work under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and committed to continuous improvement.
