Job Title: MEP Engineer

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple MEP works across different projects, ensuring timely execution and adherence to project schedules.
- Ensure seamless transition from design to execution, minimizing technical issues.
- Utilize project management software, AutoCAD and related tools to prepare and review MEP plans.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for MEP systems including HVAC, plumbing and electrical installations.
- Oversee project milestones to ensure all MEP deliverables are met on time and within scope.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and specialists to ensure integration of MEP systems into the overall project.
- Provide technical guidance on installation, maintenance and system compliance.
- Conduct site inspections, resolve engineering issues and implement practical solutions.
- Evaluate performance and compliance of contractors, consultants and service providers.
- Review contractor drawings and method statements to ensure alignment with MEP design.
- Resolve coordination issues related to MEP works during construction.
- Monitor and enforce site health and safety policies related to MEP activities.
- Conduct off-site inspections to confirm material and equipment compliance with standards and specifications.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
- Minimum of 7 – 10 years experience in MEP design and/or site supervision within construction projects.
- Professional certification or registration with an engineering body is an added advantage.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office and relevant project management tools.
- Familiar with international codes and standards related to MEP works.
