About Organisation:
The Motorcenter East Africa Ltd started as Go Nissan Ltd in 2005 as a dealership for Nissan vehicles and Suzuki motorcycles. The 3-S dealership with sales, service and showroom facilities had a mandate to promote and manage the Nissan brand in the Entebbe area. By mid 2006, the Entebbe market was saturated and as part of the growth strategy it was decided to expand our product and geographical mandate. We sourced for brands that would bring value for money to our market, and entered into distributor agreements with manufacturers in China and Thailand.
Job Summary: The Marketing Officer will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote The Motorcenter EA Ltd’s products and services. This role involves creating impactful campaigns, managing digital and traditional marketing channels, and collaborating with internal teams to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth in the competitive automotive market.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote vehicle sales, after-sales services, and brand loyalty.
- Ensure all marketing activities align with Motorcenter EA Ltd’s brand values and business objectives.
- Organize events, sponsorships, and community outreach programs to strengthen brand visibility.
- Monitor budgets and ensure cost-effective marketing initiatives.
- Manage social media platforms, website content, and digital advertising to enhance online presence.
- Conduct market research to identify customer preferences, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, and videos.
- Analyze brand and campaign performance using data analytics tools and provide reports to optimize future strategies.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- CIM enrolment is an added advantage
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the automotive industry or a related sector.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
