Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing functional, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable interior spaces that align with our brand’s vision and client expectations. This role requires strong design skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design Development & Space Planning
- Create innovative and functional interior designs based on client requirements.
- Develop mood boards, sketches, and 3D visualizations to communicate design concepts.
- Optimize space planning while ensuring comfort, safety, and efficiency.
- Material & Finishes Selection
- Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, and decor elements.
- Ensure sustainable and cost-effective choices that align with project budgets.
- Project Management
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution.
- Oversee site inspections to ensure designs are implemented as planned.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Client & Supplier Coordination
- Engage with clients to understand their vision and provide professional recommendations.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts when necessary.
- Technical Documentation
- Produce detailed drawings, plans, elevations and specifications using CAD software.
- Ensure all designs comply with building codes and regulations.
- Trend & Market Research
- Stay updated on interior design trends, materials, and emerging technologies.
- Incorporate innovative ideas to enhance the quality and uniqueness of projects.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in interior design, preferably in residential, hospitality and commercial projects.
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, etc.).
- Strong understanding of materials, furniture, lighting, and color theory.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Preferred Skills & Attributes
- Passion for sustainable and eco-friendly design.
- Experience in hospitality or high-end residential projects.
- Strong creativity and problem-solving abilities.
- Team player with a keen eye for detail.
