As of June 30, 2020, Marriott operated 291 properties worldwide under the Four Points by Sheraton brand, with 53,054 rooms. In addition, Marriott had 130 planned hotels with 27,342 additional rooms.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an HR leadership role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Sound knowledge of Ugandan labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and HR policy implementation.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems is an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.
- Experience in staff training and development is a plus.
