African Vending Systems is a limited liability company, registered in Uganda and registered with the Uganda Investment Authority. PayWay® is a registered business name and trademark for African Vending Systems Limited as well as AVS, therefore the two may be used interchangeably. PayWay started its operations in Uganda and preparations are under way to extend to other African countries.
Job Summary: PayWay is seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Sales to lead our sales team and drive business growth. If you’re a dynamic leader with a proven track record in sales and a passion for fintech innovation, we want to hear from you!
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue goals.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to exceed targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Analyze sales performance data and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with other departments to align sales goals with company objectives.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years in sales management (preferably in Fintech or Telecom).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales technologies.
