Job Summary: We are looking for a Finance Manager to help achieve financial efficiency of our Uganda office. NB: Relocation to Kampala, Uganda is required.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly management reporting and provide insightful data analysis
- Lead financial reporting and analysis processes
- Manage the preparation of company’s budget and financial forecasts
- Oversee banking operations, including managing and authorizing payments
- Lead fundraising and investment activities, such as due diligence, contracting, and reporting
- Analyze costs and drive cost-saving initiatives to optimize resources.
- Develop and manage procurement processes, approvals, and significant purchases
- Build strong networks with local and expatriate business leaders to gain valuable market
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Higher education in Finance, Economics or Business Administration
- Previous experience within the area of finance
- Hands-on approach and “getting things done” mindset
- Excellent analytical skills
- High sense of responsibility, preciseness, ability to plan and set priorities
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent computer skills
