Job Title: Estates Officer – Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary: Plan and manage all surveying works for the University.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generate Bills of Quantities and specifications;
- Monitor all ongoing projects
- Evaluate project and maintenance costs;
- Endorse the certificates of works before payments are made;
- Assist in establishing the client’s requirement and undertaking feasibility studies;
- Perform risk, value management and cost control;
- Provide advice on procurement strategy;
- Identify, analyze and develop responses to commercial risks;
- Prepare and analyze costs for tenders.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Honours Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying;
- Must be a member of a professional body;
- Must be a registered surveyor with a valid practicing license from professional body
Experience
- Three (3) years relevant working experience
Skills/Competences
- Good communication, leadership and interpersonal skills;
- Proficient in using relevant computer packages;
- Team work and team building;
- High integrity.
