Job Summary: Ensure proper management of data and information systems at the Directorate of Research and Graduate Training
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect cohesive and quality datasets;
- Verify data collection forms for completeness and accuracy;
- Oversee routine data cleaning, validation, analysis, reporting and make backup;
- Streamline methods to share information, using internet, e-mail, written reports;
- Provide technical support to Data entry clerks and Records Clerks;
- Conduct data quality assessments and provide timely feedback to end-users;
- Maintain usage and of ICT equipment at the DRGT;
- Provide support to College Registrars in data management of graduate programmes.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Information Technology or Information Systems or Statistics or Quantitative Economics;
- An Honors Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Information Technology or Information Systems or Statistics or Quantitative Economics.
Experience
- Minimum of the three (3) years relevant working experience
Skills/Competences
- Leadership and supervisory skills;
- Ability to build, lead and work with teams;
- Computer literacy; Interpersonal & communication skills;
- Quick judgement and decision making;
- Ability to initiate change.
